The 2024 Femmy Awards, presented by The Underfashion Club, the intimate apparel industry charitable organization dedicated to education, has scheduled its annual event for Aug. 6 once again at Cipriani 42nd Street.
Honorees include Commando, Eberjey, Regina Miracle, Vanity Fair and Mayur Vansia, director of innovation at Victoria’s Secret.
Commando will win for “Brand Evolution,” Eberjey will receive an award for “Iconic Sleepwear,” Regina Miracle will win for “Sustainable Innovation,” Vanity Fair for “Fan Favorite” and Victoria Secret’s Vansia for “Visionary.”
The event supports The Underfashion Club’s Scholarship, Awards, Internship and Grants programs, and this year’s Senior Design Contest, showcasing “Creative Recycling for a Sustainable Fashion Future.”
This year also marks the 66th anniversary of this charitable organization, which was established to provide intimate apparel industry leaders with a forum to exchange information and ideas and support the intimate apparel market as a vital aspect of the fashion industry.
“This year, we applaud those members of the industry who have turned options into action, be it ecologically innovative methods of manufacturing, upcycling, recycling, environmentally conscious invention or reducing our carbon footprint,” said Tina M. Wilson, president of the Underfashion Club and vice president, creative director for Hue Brands.
