MILAN — Elie Saab, Dubai-based development management firm Octa and property developer Arte Developments are coming together to build La Mer by Elie Saab, a signature development located on Al Marjan Island, a manmade island in the United Arab Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
Construction began on La Mer by Elie Saab in the third quarter of this year. Residences are expected to be ready by the beginning of 2028, the three firms said in a statement released Monday.

As the region grows into a premier entertainment and resort destination, this development brings the distinctive Elie Saab lifestyle while embracing the unique character of Ras Al Khaimah’s surroundings,” said Elie Saab Group chief executive officer Elie Saab Jr. Last year, Elie Saab announced the construction of Etoile by Elie Saab, its first branded residence in Saudi Arabia, built with the help of Saudi Arabian real estate company Dar Al Arkan. Ras Al Khaimah is known for its pristine beaches, resort vibe and terracotta desert vistas.
La Mer features three beachfront towers and a total of 355 residences ranging from 874 square feet to 14,484 square feet. These will be categorized into 10 different residence categories from one-bedroom apartments to chalets and villas, as well as nine exclusive penthouses spanning between 10,453 square feet and 14,484 square feet. The residences were envisioned with the fashion house’s signature style with Elie Saab Maison furniture prices.

The residential community has been envisaged with family amentieis like a kids club, indoor pool and play area. Wellness is also a paramount with both female and male spas, a gym and grand pool. Resort features like a sky gym, sky coworking space, sky lounge and sky pool and deck are meant to enhance the community concept.
Elie Saab was established as a couture house in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1982. The Maison branched out into interior design in 2019 after inking a licensing agreement with Swiss home design company Corporate Brand, in a strategic move that added furniture and interior design projects to its existing ready-to-wear and haute couture activities.
Elie Saab Maison has been involved in real estate projects around the globe, with branded villas and residences in key cities like Dubai and Doha, as well as the Saffire by Elie Saab in São Paulo and Elie Saab Residences Hyde Park, London.
Driven by an appetite for luxury living, fashion brands have made their mark on developments worldwide.
