50 Cent Reviews Eminem’s ‘The Death Of Slim Shady’ Album

50 Cent has offered his review of Eminem‘s new album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).

The G-Unit mogul, who featured in a trailer for the album, was impressed by the LP, which some consider Em’s best in over a decade.

Posting on Instagram on Monday (July 15), 50 wrote: “Yo @eminem shit is crazy it takes me a while to understand the details of this one.”

50 also reposted graphic revealing that The Death of Slim Shady had surpassed 100 million streams in just two days.

While Eminem has a fan in longtime friend and collaborator 50 Cent, one person who did not like the album was political commentator Candace Owens.

The Detroit rap legend takes multiple shots at the conservative pundit on the project, rapping on the Dr. Dre-produced “Lucifer”: “And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her/ I ain’t gon’ throw the fact bitch forgot she was Black back at her/ Laugh at her like them crackers she’s backin’ after her back is turned/ In a cute MAGA hat with her brand-new White Lives Matter shirt.”

In response, Owens went on a rant about Eminem on her podcast in which she accused him of being gay.

During the eight-minute segment, Owens said: “First thing I wanna say is Eminem is obviously a gay man. It’s very sad that Eminem cleaned out his closet but never came out of his closet,” referencing his 2002 hit “Cleanin’ Out My Closet.”

She added: “I just would like to again remind people that he is in fact a struggling internally gay man and we should pray for him.”

Owens also claimed that she decided to respond to his lyrics to “help him go viral” because “this is very sad. I want you to feel sad for Eminem ’cause this is just not the way for someone’s career to go down the drain […] He can be relevant just by me speaking about him.”

“It would have meant something if he was at his prime,” she continued. “He is not at the peak of his career; he is at the end of it. His career should have ended, like, 15 years ago and he keeps going.”

The Death of Slim Shady also features several digs aimed at Diddy over his alleged history of sexual assault and violent relationship with ex-girlfriend Cassie, although the Bad Boy boss has yet to respond.

“Next idiot ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did/ But on the real, though/ She prolly ran out the room with his fuckin’ dildo/ He try to field goal punt her, she said to chill/ Now put it back in my ass and get the steel toe,” Eminem raps on “Antichrist,” referencing the leaked footage of Puffy assaulting the R&B singer in 2016.

He also spits on the JID-assisted “Fuel”: “I’m like a R-A-P-E-R/ Got so many S-As, S-As/ Wait, he didn’t just spell the word ‘rapper’ and leave out a P, did he?/ R.I.P., rest in peace Biggie/ And ‘Pac, both of y’all should be living/ But I ain’t tryna beef with him/ ‘Cause he might put a hit on me like Keefe D did him.”
