Okay, I realize that this cape is not originally intended for Halloween, but it beautifully illustrates my goal here: You can stay warmer on Halloween by opting for a sexy costume that includes a plus size CAPE! Most regular capes will be too small, so opt for a sexy costume that comes with a cape.

I actually learned from the one and only Taylor Swift! Taylor is known for layering the Capezio “Ultra Shimmery” tights for her tour, and I think this idea is STELLAR for plus size babes who need a bit of layering underneath their fishnet or short costume!
Unfortunately, Capezio only goes up to an XL (bummer!), so I found these tights instead that go up to an 8X.

I learned this plus size Halloween tip the hard way. One year, I decided to be Cruella De Vil– wig and all. Except when I went to a Halloween event at a club, I was NOT prepared for how hot my head would be.

A Thermos is a must for Halloween. I like to go for apple cider or hot chocolate. The thermos contents can keep your insides a bit more warm, and ALSO act as a hand warmer. I loved the design of this thermos from Target!
