Lifestyle brand FatFace has today opened a new 2,000 sq ft store at Blanchardstown Centre in Dublin, marking its first full price store opening in Ireland for 14 years, adding to five existing stores.

The new store, which has created 12 new jobs, is carrying the brand’s latest SS24 men’s, women’s and kidswear collections, and the first 200 customers will receive a purchase promotion.

Karen Johnston, Stores Director at FatFace, said: “Opening a new store in Blanchardstown is an exciting milestone for FatFace.

Sharon Walsh, Leasing Director at Falcon AM, asset managers for Blanchardstown Centre, added: “We are extremely excited about the opening of FatFace. The new store responds directly to demand for a more diversified fashion offer from our catchment and closely follows several other great additions such as Calvin Kelin and Flannels.

“Here at Blanchardstown, we are experiencing strong demand for space – reflecting the success of investment in the centre over the last few years, as well as the continued resilience of prime physical retail.”

Blanchardstown Centre is Dublin’s largest retail and leisure destination, covering over 1.1 million sq ft. It attracts high visitor numbers from Dublin and surrounding counties, with an annual footfall of over 16 million.

The centre has benefitted from an extension and an extensive refurbishment process over the last three years, including a full mall upgrade, with further spend planned.

As well as the stores in Ireland, FatFace currently operates 180 stores in the UK and over 20 stores in the US and Canada.
