Marks & Spencer has today unveiled a new collection designed in collaboration with British actress Sienna Miller, launching online and in 30 selected M&S stores from 6 June 2024.

It follows on from a successful partnership in September 2023, when Miller fronted the M&S AW23 womenswear campaign.

The 33-piece collection is inspired by Miller’s personal archive and favourite vintage finds, reinterpreted to resonate with the M&S customer.

There’s a nod to summer festivals with 70s prints, and the hero piece, described as “Sienna’s dress of the season”, is a ruffle maxi dress – available in ivory and pale blue.

There’s also a beaded tank dress that “conjures up memories of her iconic Glastonbury style”, and a multipurpose sarong in reference to a scarf gifted to her by her father many years ago.

Colour and print combinations are inspired by one of her favourite artists, Mark Rothko, and there are Western-style suede mules that are a mainstay of her own summer wardrobe, described as “a stylish, seasonal alternative to a sandal”.

Additionally, there are slouchy barrel-leg jeans that feature a contrast side panel and cut-out hem detail, a khaki utility jacket inspired by a men’s oversized military jacket, and a soft summer shirt with a “lived-in feel” – finished with delicate smocked detailing.

Maddy Evans, M&S Womenswear Director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to build upon our relationship with Sienna Miller and introduce a design collaboration that is inspired by her own personal wardrobe.

“Sienna is the epitome of the modern woman – confident, empowered, and effortlessly chic, and her unique style and personality perfectly complements our brand values.

“We are confident that together we will inspire new and existing customers with exciting fashion choices throughout the summer season and beyond.”

Miller commented: “I have always had a genuine love for M&S – it’s a brand that is part of the fabric of British life and holds special associations for so many people.

“Seeing the reaction to the autumn campaign that I fronted was phenomenal. To collaborate on a womenswear design project made total sense. I can’t wait to see what customers think of the collection.”
