PARTYNEXTDOOR Hypes Drake Collab Album As He Shares New Details

0

Drake announced earlier this month that he’s collaborating on a joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, and now additional details about the project have begun to emerge.

During a brief chat with personality Awaiz Punjani published on Tuesday (August 6), PND revealed how many new songs are in process.

When asked his favorite song he’s made with the OVO boss, he said, “The one we doing right now – all 15 we doing right now,” revealing how many tracks the duo is working on for the new LP.

Check out the clip below.

During PND’s PARTYNEXTDOOR & Friends concert at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage last week on August 2, Drake showed up and broke the news of the project at the end of his set.

“I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake album will be right there for you,” he said.

No release date has been announced, aside from Drake’s hint that the project will be out “when it gets a little chilly.”

During his performance on Friday, Drizzy reportedly ran through a short set of tunes that included “Sweeterman,” “Finesse,” “Redemption, “Come and See Me,” “Drama,” and his remix of “Hey There Delilah.”

In other Drake news, the performer’s beefs in the rap world are continuing, as A$AP Rocky threw some shots on his latest single “HIGHJACK.”

The song, which features singer Jessica Pratt and will appear on his upcoming album Don’t Be Dumb (out August 30), appears to contain several subliminal shots aimed at the 6 God.

In the first verse, Rocky raps: “Fuck your ho ’cause she like that/ Yeah, bitch fat ass, pretty, I might wife that/ N-ggas swear they pimpin’, Scottie simpin’, get your wife back.”

At the end of the verse, he appears to reference Drake previously being in love with Rihanna: “These n-ggas want my wife bad, the people want my next track.”

Drake Reference Controversy Continues With Apparent PARTYNEXTDOOR Track

Rocky returning fire at Drake isn’t unexpected after Hot 97’s DJ Kast One revealed earlier this week that the “Peso” rapper has multiple disses lined up on Don’t Be Dumb.

After attending a listening event for the album, Kast One said on air: “I heard A$AP Rocky definitely addressing a lot of the main topics that are happening out there right now. Let’s just say the list keeps going on strong.”

Host Ebro Darden then asked whether “Rocky is still on Drake’s list,” with the DJ responding: “Oh, he’s gonna be cemented on the list after this.”
