Just like that, we can’t have nice things. First Acuna, now Mookie, our first round picks are dropping like flies. The number of teams where I lost both Mookie and Yamamoto made this past weekend a rough one. Replacing these players Monday morning was an exercise in futility. Mookie turned into Miguel Rojas, and Yamamoto turned into a streaming spot starting with Javier Assad. Ick. The Razzball Commenter Leagues are some of the easiest leagues to recover from but that still doesn’t make it any fun to lose a player like Mookie for months. With some managers taking a huge hit this weekend, let’s see which teams made out better.
Each week we’ll peek in at our resident ‘perts to see who is laying claim to best “expert” RCLer in the land. We’ll take notes, check the standings and generally stalk them. The heading is also hyperlink, so feel free to follow along as we go.
A few teams moved up or down one spot this week, but not major movement, still, the biggest winner of the week was Cram It. Cram picked up 11 points this week thanks to leading the league in Runs, RBI, batting average, and saves. Going the other way this week was Son, who lost six points but held onto second place. Mike C extended his lead, adding 1.5 points.
Each week we’ll also take a look at the top ten overall standings in our other Razzball sponsored league, the RazzSlam. This is our NFBC Best Ball league with managers from all across the industry, from content providers to fans and readers just like you.
The top ten is the same teams as last week, just in a different order. The top four, however, remained the same. The most points this week was from OpenBarFantasyBaseballTambo, who scored 742 points and moved up 59 places to 192nd.
TRADES

6/16/2024 | CRAB ARMY |
Big Daddy Truss traded Ryan Helsley & Michael Harris II to Sea Pilots for Bryan Reynolds & Paul Skenes |
Seven trades went down this week. Kyle Tucker got moved again, there was a great deal for Elly De La Cruz as a team looks to move some speed before Elly’s summer swoon, and I managed to trade MHII just days before the news of his hamstring broke—rotten luck for the Sea Pilots. Don’t worry, I have Harris on two other RCL teams to make up for it.

TEAM OF THE WEEK
Our weekly shout out to the team that killed it the previous week.
Team: password is taco
League: RCL 5
Stats: AVG: .304, R: 58, HR: 20, RBI: 67, SB: 11
IP: 49.1, ERA: 2.01, WHIP: 1.135, K: 61, W: 3, SV: 9
Summary: Our first repeat TOW winner! Taco has actually won TOW honors three different times now, twice with this team and once with another. Taco is running away with RCL 5, stretching the lead from 18 to 23 points this week. I think taco might be a savant, because I look at this team and it’s ok, but they must be batty-calling like no one’s business. Speaking of, taco has no catcher rostered but streamed three this week: Connor Wong hit .385 in 4 games, when he wasn’t playing, taco successfully streamed Alejandro Kirk (1/3 with a HR) and Gabriel Moreno (3 for 5 with 2 RBI). Riley Greene had a huge week(11 RBI), Carlos Correa (9 RBI, .548) and Anthony Santander (6 RBI) each hit 3 home runs. On the pitching side, Garrett Crochet had a 13-strikeout game, while Taj Bradley struck out 11 in a win. Trevor Megill picked up 4 saves. Amazing. Keep it up taco!
