Specsavers launches first men’s eyewear collection with Vivienne Westwood – TheIndustry.fashion

Specsavers has launched a men’s eyewear collection by Vivienne Westwood, with silhouettes “inspired by Hollywood icons of the 1950s and 60s glitterati”.

While women’s Vivienne Westwood eyewear has previously been available at the high street retailer, this is the first time an exclusive men’s range has been introduced.

There are 13 new optical frames, fusing vintage inspired design with bold and modern shapes. Signature Vivienne Westwood details include the brand’s orb emblem at the temples of the frames. There’s also tartan graphics, detailed engraving, bevelled edges and rich tortoiseshell colourways.

Christopher Di Pietro, Global Brand Director at Vivienne Westwood, said: “Our new optical collection with Specsavers introduces frames with a menswear focus – echoing vintage silhouettes in modern colourways, with finishes inspired by our men’s jewellery collections.”
