- Controladora Vuela Compañía de Aviación, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE:VLRS) on Thursday said its load factor in May increased 1.6 pp Y/Y to 86.1%.
- The company reported a 17.5% year-over-year decrease in May capacity (measured in ASMs), while demand (measured in RPMs) decreased by 15.9%.
- Volaris transported 2.4 million passengers during the month, an 14.8% decrease compared to May 2023.
- Demand in the Mexican domestic RPMs decreased by 22%, while international RPMs decreased by 3.6%.
